The Air Jordan 1 Retro High is one of, if not THE, must-have silhouettes for sneaker fans. Paying homage to this legendary model created by Peter Moore, Jordan Brand releases a tongue-in-cheek version, poking fun at the sneaker resale market where it’s widely represented.
This model, dubbed No L’s or ‘ Not for Resale’ , is dressed in the Chicago colors of the Air Jordan 1, a black and white base with red accents. The pair’s humorous aspect is found in the writing on the heel, “No Photo,” a reference to the sneakers’ high media profile, and in the “Not for Resale” and “Wear Me” writings found on the outsole and tongue, respectively, ironically referencing the fact that the majority of the sneaker market is repurchase and resale.
