Following the release of the Fire Red, Michael Jordan’s fourth signature shoe was enhanced with a design inspired by the ancient Japanese embroidery technique known as Sashiko . The design was recently featured on a three-pack of Nike SB shoes .
The Air Jordan 4 Retro SE Deep Ocean features a canvas upper with a patchwork design. The navy blue base is accented with subtle white and red accents through asymmetrical geometric patterns . The whole thing is completed with a white outsole and modern Jumpman branding on the heel and tongue.
The creative teams behind the Jumpman and the Swoosh once again demonstrate their ability to draw inspiration from everything, as demonstrated by the designs of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Space Hippie or the Air Jordan 1 Mid Fearless Maison Chateau Rouge .
